In this video, we discuss how to best choose tyres for your van: start by checking the size indicated on the existing tyres. The first number indicates the tread width in mm, the second the tyre height, the letter indicates the type of tyre, and the number indicates the rim diameter in inches.

Tyres for commercial vehicles often have the letter "C", the load index, and then indications on whether they are summer or winter tyres. Regarding sizes, we are bound by what is indicated in the vehicle registration document.

The load index can be higher for the same sizes, so if you know you will be working at the limit, definitely choose a more robust tyre; an all-terrain tyre can be suitable for unpaved roads. Preferences for summer, winter, or all-season depend on where you work.

A winter tyre does not necessarily mean snow, but better grip on wet, damp, or cold roads. If you want to stay compliant, all-season tyres are excellent, especially if you work a lot between the city and surrounding areas.
