How do you deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen T-Roc?

On board the Volkswagen T-Roc, deactivating Lane Assist is done by turning on the instrument panel, pressing the appropriate button located to the right of the steering column: at this point, you will need to press the button on the end of the left steering wheel lever, so that a new screen is displayed. Then, when the "Lane Assist" message appears, you will need to press the OK button located on the right steering wheel spoke: this will remove the check mark next to the appropriate message and the system will be deactivated. To reactivate it, simply press OK again to display the new check mark.
