How do you deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen T-Roc?

The removal of Lane Assist on the Volkswagen T-Roc is done by turning on the instrument panel, then pressing the appropriate button next to the steering column. At this point, you must press the button on the end of the lever on the left side of the steering wheel, so that a specific menu is displayed. Then, when the "Lane Assist" message appears, you must press the OK button on the right side of the steering wheel instead: this will remove the check mark next to the wording and the system will be deactivated. To reactivate it, simply press OK again to make the check mark reappear.
