How to disassemble the passenger armrest in the Volkswagen Transporter van?

In this tutorial, we can see how to disassemble the passenger armrest in the Volkswagen Transporter van, an extremely simple and quick operation, to be carried out, for example, to repair the hinge or to replace it directly. First of all, we open the passenger door, then, using a screwdriver with a flat tip or a plastic spatula, we unhook the hinge cover by levering it. We then unscrew the large central bolt using a 12mm XZN key, grab the armrest and separate it from the seat. At this point, we can position the replacement and follow the reverse procedure.
