Volkswagen Golf 4: how to find the fuse box and the radio fuse.

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003

To locate the fuse box on the Volkswagen Golf 4, enter from the driver's side and open the small panel on the left side of the dashboard, which is visible when the door is open. Behind the cover, you will find a row of fuses arranged vertically and numbered. To work on the radio, look for the position dedicated to the audio system services: on the Golf 4, the radio fuse is indicated by the number 42. Remove the fuse using the appropriate tweezers or a small lever, check that the internal strip is not broken, and if it is burnt out, replace it with one of the same amperage indicated on the original fuse. Reinsert the new fuse into the correct slot, close the fuse box cover, and check that the radio turns on in your Golf 4.
