How to reassemble the remote control of the Volkswagen ID 3/ID4/ID5.

What may seem like a trivial task at first glance has actually caused quite a few headaches for this YouTuber. In fact, the rubber panel has completely come off, and as we saw in the video, it doesn't simply snap back into place by pressing it. It's necessary to partially disassemble the remote control. Using a small flathead screwdriver, we pry open the bottom of the remote, between the metal frame and the plastic shell, to pop off the metal frame; we repeat this on the other side. We take the rubber panel with the buttons, position it in its housing, ensuring it is perfectly aligned, and then take the metal frame from the longer side and snap it in place bit by bit, before repeating with the shorter side. We insert the mechanical key back into its housing, replace the back cover, and we're done. Use a gentle hand!
