How to reset the oil warning light on the Volkswagen Polo 9N.

Let's see how to reset the yellow oil light, which has warned us to change the oil and filter. (The red one is not a warning but a danger! We must immediately turn off the vehicle and call a tow truck). So, let's see what to do after performing the service: With the vehicle off, press and hold the trip odometer button, and while holding it, turn on the ignition: the central display will show "OEL" (oil service) and it will start to blink. After 10/15 seconds, the message will become steady. Release the button, then press it once more. The display will show "---", confirming that the counter has been reset. Turn off the ignition, and the next time you start the vehicle, the message will be gone.
