On the Volkswagen Golf V, the engine compartment fuse box is located on the right side of the compartment when viewing the vehicle from the front. Next to it, you will also find the pre-fuse box. The relay box is located on the onboard network computer, to the left under the dashboard. The dashboard fuse panel is situated within the thickness of the dashboard itself, positioned against the driver’s side door. This applies to both left-hand and right-hand drive, as the boxes are mirrored depending on the side of the drive. In this box, you can find the fuse for the power socket, which is number 26, and number 42 from May 2006.
