How to Reset the Service Light of the Volkswagen Polo?

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009

You can completely clear the Service light that appears on the dashboard of the Volkswagen Polo by holding down the button located in the centre of the dashboard while it is off: continue to hold the button while inserting the ignition key and turning it to switch on the display. Once activated, release the button and then turn it clockwise; by doing this, the light will be cleared from the dashboard, which can then be turned off by turning the key back to complete the reset procedure.
