How to Reset the Service Light on the Volkswagen Passat?

Model: Volkswagen Passat B8, 3G, MK 8 - Years 2014-2023

To completely clear the Service light that illuminates on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Passat, you need to press and hold the button marked "0.0" located at the centre of the instrument cluster. While holding it down, turn the key to activate the instrument cluster: a message will appear on the menu asking if you want to confirm the Service reset. To confirm, press the button again at the centre of the instrument cluster. Once the reset is complete, you can check that the process was successful and turn off the display.
