How to Adjust the Handbrake on a Volkswagen Transporter Van?

In this tutorial, you will see how to adjust the handbrake on a Volkswagen Transporter van, a very simple and quick operation. First, park the vehicle on a flat surface with the first gear engaged, then locate the clip at the bottom of the handbrake lever cover, use a flathead screwdriver to pry it off and separate the cover from the rod. Next, locate the adjustment nut, tighten or loosen it with a long 10mm socket wrench to reach the desired tension level. At this point, test the handbrake on a suitable road, ensuring safety.
