How to replace the brake pads on a Volkswagen Touareg? Let's look at removing the pads from a rear brake disc. Position the car on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height; remove the wheel. Start by unscrewing the pins of the brake caliper to detach it from the bracket; use a screwdriver to detach the brake pads from the caliper. Fit the new brake pads inside the caliper with all the securing pins; tighten the caliper to the disc and the pads. Tighten all the pins and refit the wheel. Prepare to perform the same operations on the other calipers on the vehicle.
