How to reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Polo?

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

By holding down the left button located in the centre of the instrument cluster while it is off, you can start the reset operation for the Service light on the Volkswagen Polo. While holding it down, insert the ignition key and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster: once it is on, release the button and then press the 0.0/SET button next to it. Once this button is pressed, the Service light will be permanently reset: you can turn off and on the instrument cluster to verify that the reset has been executed.
