How to disassemble the instrument panel in a Volkswagen Polo?

In this tutorial, we will see how to disassemble the instrument cluster in the Volkswagen Polo, a procedure that is extremely simple and quick. First, let's make sure that the key is not inserted, so we can operate safely. Next, we move the steering wheel all the way forward and, using a plastic spatula, we unclip the upper cover of the steering column. Then, we unscrew the two indicated screws using a Torx T20 key, grab the instrument cluster, and pull it out of its housing. At this point, all that’s left to do is disconnect the internal connector and install the replacement, following the reverse procedure.
