In this tutorial, you will learn how to remove the instrument cluster in a Volkswagen Polo, a task that is extremely simple and quick. Before proceeding, open the bonnet and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to work safely.

Start by entering the cabin, then unclip the upper plastic cover of the steering column. Next, locate the two indicated screws, unscrew them using a Torx T20 spanner, and extract the instrument cluster from its housing.

At this point, simply disconnect the internal connectors and fit any replacement part.
