How to Remove the Instrument Cluster from a Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

Before you can start, sit in the driver's seat of your Volkswagen Polo. Begin by unclipping and lifting the upper cover of the steering column. Next, unscrew the screws that secure the instrument cluster to the dashboard. This will free the instrument cluster itself. Proceed to extract the instrument cluster from the dashboard, then disconnect the corresponding electrical connector. Once you have completed this last step, you can remove the instrument cluster, and the disassembly will be finished.
