How to remove the plastic cap to access the instrument cluster on a Volkswagen Polo? Follow these steps for proper disassembly: use a lever to remove the plastic cap of the instrument cluster trim (without breaking the plastic clips) and detach it from the dashboard, then disconnect the power connectors of the instrument cluster. After removing the instrument cluster from the dashboard, prepare to install a new piece or reassemble the same one (repair the instrument cluster if necessary). Finally, proceed in reverse order for the assembly of the instrument cluster and the cover cap.
