How to Replace the Battery on a Volkswagen Polo 9N

To replace the battery on a Volkswagen Polo 9N, open the bonnet and locate the battery on the right side. Unclip and lift the protective cover. Disconnect the negative terminal (10 mm socket), then the positive. Remove the fixing bracket at the base (13 mm socket with extension). Extract the old battery. Install the new one, aligning the positive terminal to the left. Reconnect the positive terminal, then the bracket (aligning the tab with the groove at the base), and finally the negative. Use a screwdriver to tighten the terminals and push them down firmly before securing.
