Windshield wipers that never stop on a Volkswagen Polo V, we need to remove the steering wheel.

In this video we see the problem of a Volkswagen Polo V, in which the windshield wipers never stop, so we have to remove the steering wheel to get to the bottom of the issue. We deactivate the battery, so as not to take risks with the airbag. We turn the steering wheel completely to remove the screws that hold the steering column cover, first on the right and then on the left, and we can remove the cover. Now we release the spring that holds the airbag and remove it as well; we disconnect the electrical connector and with a suitable screwdriver, we remove the steering wheel from the steering column, disconnect the electrical connectors of the turn signals. We can find the new piece for example on E-bay with the code 396139725163 at the price of 77.06 euros, including delivery costs. Now all that remains is to reassemble it, connecting the connectors, reassembling the lower and upper covers of the steering column. Now we can reassemble the steering wheel and then reconnect the airbag and the battery.
