How to remove the airbag from a Volkswagen Polo V

In this video, we will see how to remove the airbag from a Volkswagen Polo V. First, we need to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, an essential precaution when working around the airbag. Next, we need to remove the cover located above the steering wheel hub; in most cases, this is an accessory that is not screwed in but simply pressed in, so with a plastic spatula and some care, we should be able to remove it fairly easily. This will expose a notch located at the back of the steering wheel, where we will insert a small screwdriver: this will allow us to release the spring that holds the airbag in place, enabling us to remove the module and disconnect the electrical connector that would supply power.
