Removing the Steering Wheel from a Volkswagen Polo

Learn how to remove the airbag from the steering wheel of a Volkswagen Polo. Enter the cabin of the Polo and locate where to place your hands. Start by taking a screwdriver and unlocking the clips. Insert a medium-length flathead screwdriver into the rear slots of the steering wheel to unlock. Once the clips are released, disconnect the airbag along with the relevant power connectors. Reconnect the power connector, then press the airbag firmly until the clips are fully locked. Check that the airbag is securely attached to the steering wheel of your car.
