In this brief and simple guide, you will learn how to remove and replace the steering wheel airbag on a Volkswagen Polo, following the instructions below. This video illustrates how to replace the airbag with the steering wheel removed; press and leverage the back of the steering wheel (on the two holes found on the sides) to release and remove the airbag from the steering wheel, as shown in the video. At this point, disconnect the electrical connectors to remove and replace the airbag with a new one, refitting the steering wheel if it has been previously removed!
