How to reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Touran?

You can clear the Service light displayed on the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Touran by turning on the ignition after inserting the key into the ignition switch: once the ignition is on, navigate through the menu shown using the controls on the steering wheel. Select the "Vehicle Status" option and then scroll to find the "Service" option: once selected, proceed by choosing "Reset". This will clear the light and the instrument panel can be turned off.
