Operation: How do I remove the Volkswagen Touran's steering wheel airbag?

To remove the Volkswagen Touran's steering wheel airbag you need to insert a screwdriver into the hole located in the rear part of the steering wheel, above the steering column. You must first turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and detach the right side of the airbag and then turn the steering wheel all the way to the left to detach the left side of the airbag. At this point the airbag can be removed from its seat and to be able to remove it completely, it will be necessary to disconnect the relative connector. Once replaced, it can be reinserted, fitting it in its seat and connecting the connector.
