How to remove the steering wheel airbag from a Volkswagen Touran?

Model: Volkswagen Touran MK 1, 1T - Years 2003-2015

To remove the steering wheel airbag from a Volkswagen Touran, insert a screwdriver into the hole located at the back of the steering wheel, above the column. First, turn the steering wheel fully to the right and detach the right side of the airbag, then turn the steering wheel fully to the left to detach the left side of the airbag. At this point, the airbag can be pulled from its seat, and to remove it completely, it will be necessary to disconnect the relevant connector. Once replaced, it can be reinserted by locking it into its seat and connecting the connector.
