Removing the Airbag and Steering Wheel from a Volkswagen Touran

Today, you will learn how to remove the steering wheel airbag from a Volkswagen Touran; once removed, you can also detach the steering wheel in a few simple steps. First, open the bonnet and disconnect the two battery terminals; then, get inside the car and turn the steering wheel to access the rear screw. At this point, disconnect the front airbag by unplugging its electrical connector; to remove the steering wheel, simply take out the central bolt and the aluminium plate by unscrewing the torx screws with a screwdriver.
