In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the battery in a Volkswagen Touran, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the key is not inserted for safety, then open the bonnet and remove the battery cover. Next, unscrew the fixing bracket bolt with a 13 mm socket, loosen the positive terminal nut with a 10 mm socket, and disconnect it. At this point, also disconnect the negative terminal, remove the battery from its housing, and install the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
