Today's guide will show you how to dismantle and replace the engine battery of the Volkswagen Touran, following the instructions below. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and begin to dismantle and remove the plastic cover of the battery; then disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative), unscrewing the bracket screw to remove it from its compartment, as shown in the video.

At this point, install the new battery of the correct type and with the same amperage, making the electrical connection; finally, refit the cover!
