How to Replace the Key Battery on a Volkswagen Touran

Model: Volkswagen Touran MK 1, 1T - Years 2003-2015

Before you can start, open the physical key of your Volkswagen Touran by pressing the relevant button. Begin by inserting the tip of a large flathead screwdriver into the slot revealed when you opened the physical key, then lever it. This will detach the lower section of the key. At this point, remove the rear cover of the battery to access the exhausted battery. Proceed to unclip it from its housing, and the disassembly will be complete. To fit the new battery and close the key, simply repeat this straightforward procedure in reverse, and you will be done.
