How to Replace the Key Battery on a Volkswagen Touran

Model: Volkswagen Touran MK 1, 1T - Years 2003-2015

Before you start, open the physical key of your Volkswagen Touran by pressing the relevant button. Begin by inserting the tip of a large flathead screwdriver into the slot created when you opened the physical key, then lever it to detach the lower section of the key. At this point, remove the rear cover of the battery to access the flat battery. Proceed to unclip it from its housing, and the disassembly will be complete. To fit the new battery and reassemble the key, simply follow these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be finished.
