To replace the rear light bulb on a Volkswagen Transporter, open the rear door and locate the light unit. Remove the screws or retaining clips for the lamp, usually accessible from the inside.

Carefully pull the light unit outwards. Once removed, locate the bulb holder at the back and twist it to release.

Remove the burnt bulb and insert a new one of the same type. Reassemble the bulb holder in the lamp, reposition the light unit in its place, and secure it with screws or clips.

Close the rear door and check the correct operation of the rear lights.
