How do you reset the maintenance service light on a Volkswagen Touareg? Follow these steps to clear the light on the instrument panel. Turn on the ignition with the key/button. Press the button located above the instrument panel. Keep pressing the button until the reset service maintenance message appears. Turn off and then turn on the ignition again with the key; the maintenance confirmation will show with the next mileage. Double-check everything and turn off the instrument panel after setting it. Use this setting to always reset the light.
