To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Touareg, insert the ignition key into the ignition lock and press the button located at the bottom left of the speedometer. While holding it down, turn the key to switch on the instrument cluster: a message will appear on the display asking if you really want to reset the Service light.

Press the OK button located on the right side of the steering wheel, and the light will be reset. You can verify that the reset was successful by turning off and then turning on the ignition again.
