How to Remove the Outer Door Panel on a Jetta

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

Remove the outer cover panel from the door of a Jetta. Take off the cover panel to replace it or access the interior. Use a trim tool to remove the plastic cover located at the side of the door. With a screwdriver, unscrew the securing screws located in the inner handle and remove it (remove the inner cover panel). Once the cover panel is removed, unscrew all securing screws of the panel. Pull the outer door panel away with your hands, access the interior, or replace it (if damaged). Refit all previously removed parts along with the outer cover panel.
