In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove the ignition barrel on a Volkswagen Golf Mk5. First, remove all the plastic trims around the barrel and the steering wheel. Insert the key into the barrel and use a sharp tool to release the barrel, as shown in the video; finally, disconnect the electrical connector.

At this point, refit the barrel by reversing the procedure, inserting it into the ignition switch and reconnecting the electrical connector: follow the video until the end!
