How to replace the ignition barrel on the Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

Today, we will see the main instructions on how to dismantle and replace the ignition barrel on the Volkswagen Golf. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and disconnect the battery; then get inside the cabin and start removing the plastic cover located behind the steering wheel, unscrewing the screws of the ignition barrel and disconnecting the wiring to remove it from underneath, as shown in the video. At this point, carry out the repair or replacement of the ignition barrel, reassembling it and checking its operation.
