In this video, you will see how to remove and replace the ignition barrel on the fourth generation Volkswagen Golf, as well as on the Bora and Jetta. First, get inside the car and start by removing the plastic cover of the steering wheel, also removing the panel found below; then insert something sharp into the small hole on the ignition barrel to release and remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, extract the entire ignition block by pushing from the opposite side; then replace everything!
