Front Headlamp Bulb Replacement

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012

To replace the front headlamp bulb, it is necessary to remove the headlamp itself as access to the bulb holder is not possible. The headlamp is secured to the body via a quick-release system: simply lower the fixing lever to extract the headlamp from its housing. Once the headlamp is removed, take off the protective cap from the bulb holder, unclip the bulb retaining spring, and remove the bulb from its holder. Insert the new bulb, secure it with the retaining spring, reapply the cap, and refit the headlamp. Before completing the headlamp installation, it is advisable to clean the housing and lubricate the seals.
