In this guide, we will see how to replace the side indicator on a Volkswagen Golf VII, making an aesthetic modification by replacing the traditional indicator with a dynamic one. Start by gently detaching the wing mirror using a plastic lever and disconnect the connectors; then release the internal clips of the cover to extract it. At this point, disconnect the indicator connector and unscrew the two fixing screws with a Torx screwdriver to remove it. Insert the new indicator, secure it with the two screws, and reconnect the connector. Before reassembling everything, ensure it functions correctly.
