Replacement of Rear Headlamp Bulb

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008
Part: Tail light bulb

Open the rear bonnet and remove the carpet lining; disconnect the power connector of the rear headlamp and unscrew the two fastening nuts of the headlamp itself using a 10 mm socket; then remove the headlamp and disconnect the bulb holder; extract the damaged bulb and insert the new one (bayonet fitting).
Reconnect the bulb holder to the headlamp, insert it back into its seat connecting the power connector and tightening the respective fastening nuts; perform a functionality check of the bulb and reattach the carpet lining.
