Replacing the Centre Brake Light on Volkswagen Golf SW

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

Using a plastic trim tool (not metal!) or a small screwdriver, carefully remove the red plastic cover of the centre brake light from its housing. Perform this operation slowly, pulling the cover out a little at a time until it is completely free. Disconnect the connector on your right by opening the clip, as shown in the video, and the connection on your left by pressing the side button. At this point, you will have the brake light in hand: detach the board with the bulbs and resistors and insert the new one you purchased by simply clicking it into place.
