How to Reset the Service Light on the Volkswagen Golf 7?

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

To reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Golf 7, press and hold the 0.0 button located at the centre of the instrument cluster while it is off. While continuing to hold it, turn the key in the ignition to power on the instrument cluster: releasing the button will display a message asking if you really want to reset the maintenance and oil light. By pressing the OK button found on the stalk to the right of the steering wheel or on its right spoke, you will be able to completely reset the light, which will disappear from the instrument cluster.
