Below are the instructions that will allow you to remove the instrument cluster from the dashboard of a Volkswagen Golf. First, get inside the cabin and lower the steering wheel using the appropriate lever located below. Then, remove the plastic cover under the cluster using a key or Torx screwdriver to unscrew the fastening screws, as shown in the video. At this point, disconnect the electrical wiring located behind the instrument cluster, removing it and replacing it with a new one if necessary; reassemble and check the operation of the instrument cluster!
