How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003

Before you start, sit in the driver's seat of your Volkswagen Golf. Begin by pressing and holding the right button on the instrument cluster while activating the instrument cluster itself. Next, release the right button and turn the left button to the right. After this, turn off the instrument cluster. At this point, reactivate the instrument cluster, and you will notice that the "Service" light on your Volkswagen Golf is no longer illuminated, indicating that you have successfully completed the reset.
