How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Golf 6?

You can completely eliminate the Service light displayed on the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Golf 6 by turning on the ignition, allowing access to the menu on the display: navigate right using the arrows on the right side of the steering wheel until you find the "SETTINGS" option. At this point, scroll down to select "Service interval" and then "Reset". Choosing these options will bring up a confirmation message, from which you can confirm the reset with the OK button; once the operation is complete, you will see that the light has disappeared completely.
