How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Golf 5?

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Golf 5, press and hold the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster, where it says 0.0. While holding the button, insert the ignition key and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster: once it is on, you can release the 0.0 button and press the MIN button on the opposite side. After a few seconds, you can release this button as well, ensuring that the Service light has been successfully reset.
