On the Volkswagen Golf, reset the Service light by pressing the right button located at the bottom of the instrument cluster. While holding it down, turn the ignition key to switch on the instrument cluster.

The small display under the speedometer will show the word "Service": by rotating the button on the left of the instrument cluster, the remaining miles until the next service will be displayed. Simply switch off and then switch on the instrument cluster to reset the light: after performing this operation, you will see that the Service light has been reset.

How to open the bonnet on a Volkswagen Golf?
