How do you reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Golf 4?

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003

On board the Volkswagen Golf, the Service light reset is done by holding down the right button located at the bottom of the instrument panel. While holding it down, you will need to turn the ignition key to turn on the instrument panel. The message "Service" will appear on the small display below the speedometer: by turning the button on the left of the instrument panel, the remaining kilometers until the next service will be shown. Simply turn off and on the instrument panel to reset the light: by performing this operation, you will see that the Service light has been reset.
