The procedure we are about to see allows us to reset the service light on a Volkswagen Golf MK4, which is the fourth version of this model produced and sold between 1997 and 2003. To begin, locate the button on the right side of the dashboard and hold it down while turning the key to switch on the instrument panel.

Immediately after, use the left button and rotate it as shown in the video and turn off the panel.

The service light on our Volkswagen Golf 4 has been reset, and you can verify this by restarting the panel.
