In this video, you will see how to remove the driver's seat from the second generation Volkswagen Tiguan. List of necessary tools: 10 mm socket and ratchet, 13 mm socket and ratchet, M12 spline, cutting removal tool, small flat screwdriver. Before proceeding, it is advisable to disconnect the battery. Start by unscrewing the two bolts that secure the seat rail, located at the rear. Next, unscrew the front bolts as well. Now you can lift the seat, being careful of the airbag connectors and disconnecting those located under the carpet. You can now easily remove the seat.
