In this video tutorial, see how to replace the fuel filter on a Volkswagen Touran by following these essential steps: first, purchase a new fuel filter from an authorised dealer; next, lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate prop. Use a multi-purpose spray cleaner to clean the fuel filter box and the cover, then use a Torx T20 key to unscrew the fasteners of the fuel filter cover. After that, remove the cover using a pry bar or a screwdriver. Prepare a container to catch the filter, then pull out the filter using long-nose pliers and place it in the container. Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the old sealing ring and install the new sealing ring; now you can insert the new fuel filter in position and reassemble all parts in reverse order.
