How to change the diesel fuel filter of the Volkswagen Touran 1 diesel.

Let's see how to change the diesel filter of the Volkswagen Touran 1 diesel: the filter is located at the bottom right of the engine compartment (near the battery). Remove the 5 Torx T30 screws that secure the filter cover, using a flathead screwdriver (leave the pipes attached to prevent diesel from leaking). Place a container under the filter to collect the dripping diesel, and with a flathead screwdriver, lever the edge of the filter and rotate it counterclockwise, then pull it upwards; but be careful, because diesel will come out with the filter. Remove the old gaskets and install the new ones, then install the new filter, pushing it downwards. This car does not have a priming pump, so we will have to manually fill the filter with clean diesel before starting; we will have to pour it into the central hole with a funnel until it is full. Reassemble the flange and screw in the 5 Torx T30 screws. Start the engine and let it run for 10/15 seconds to check for leaks and ensure that the engine runs smoothly.
